a reminder that democrats are also climate change deniers. This is not what someone who actually believes in climate change would do

They're covid deniers too. I'm still waiting for them to acknowledge that we have the means to support a lockdown that would stop covid, but those resources all exist as private capital and would need to first be expropriated. Everything else is unserious bullshit.

I've said since my lib days that you have to be a complete rube to vote Republican, but I'm starting to think that's shifting. Republican voters know what they're getting, which is seeing the libs get owned. That's what they want, and they get it when they win. Democratic voters 100% believe that this time will be different, no really I swear, and that these people actually have their interests in mind. They actually believe that playing by the rules is more important than winning, even when the rules are obviously selectively enforced and often completely made up (looking at you Charlemagntarian). I honestly can't wait until libs completely unironically break out the "most important election of our lifetimes" playbook as if the past 4 years of Manchinemantarian government didnt' happen.

I'm sure glad the DNC is under the iron grip of Manchin and the Parlimentarian, really showing the electorate what the Dems can do when they hold all branches of government.

Welp, we're fucked. I mean, we were fucked before this news, but we're also fucked now.

I'm gonna start a Sun-worshipping religion, only this one involves praying to the Sun to provide us with a Carrington Event that completely and irrevocably fries the power grid. Better chance of success than relying on Democrats to actually do something about climate change.

Edit: just realized since this religion died centuries ago, I can steal the "Sol Invictus" name.

Don’t you love American democracy where public policy is decided by a guy who represents 0.5% of the population and some unelected rando with no concrete power?
