I haven’t been on or really seen anything from /politics in a long time, and since then have really sharpened my views as a communist. But at one point a long time ago (but I guess only like 6-7 years) just entering into the left, it was where I got a lot of my news and political discourse. Feels like there has to be one of those words in another language like Norwegian or something that describes the horror of retreading ground where nothing has changed except your perspective, and being horrified lol
I understand completely. Just a couple years back, I was a milquetoast lib who went thru the sub regularly; returning now, it's...unsettling. The complete lack of focus on significant events, the over focus on meaningless masquerade is bizarre, from the other side.
