Today, Easy Anti-Cheat from Epic Games / Epic Online Services has officially announced a full expansion for Linux including native builds and Wine + Proton. This is big for Linux Gaming and the Steam Deck.

Isn't automatic, developers have to "click a few things" but even still, this is pretty huge for gaming on Linux. There's very few reasons to ever need to boot Windows now.

    Why couldn't it be automatic :( one of my favs has eac but the game is essentially abandoned
