The union representing Western Washington carpenters is on strike, but it says it will pause picketing after unsanctioned walkouts on Thursday. Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant supported roving protests at job sites Thursday.

The dispute is Sawant supporting workers who want to strike in businesses with no-strike agreements and the union not being happy about that.
