I'm not a g*mer, but I do have a collection of games in my Steam library. Games like Return of the Obra Dinn, Workers & Resources, Monaco, Scythe, etc. Literally had no problems running any of these titles I bought as the windows version on Linux.
I feel this isn't an issue for folks who have a Steam library but aren't for real g*mers.
