I get to hear "In North Korea, No Food!" stories out of NPR on a bi-weekly basis. This week, it was in the context of "Maybe the UN sanctions on N. Korea are kind of horrible and not good", but you only got that bit at the tail end when they mention who is currently reporting on an internal food crisis.

I also get to hear "In Palestine, Hezbollah launches deadly missile attack on Israeli settlement community, suffers retaliation" on alternating weeks. This is typically followed up with the precise number of Israelis who have died, alongside some vaguely established larger number of Palestinians who have died.

Love living in the heart of an empire whose media constantly shits into my ear before I've even had my coffee.

Ah, yes. The dreaded "these two things are separate but we're going to conjone them because they both sound scary and we can't tell brown people apart" international alliance.

Well Hezbollah are very pro free Palestine and also regularly come into conflict with Israel so it's not an unreasonable mistake

How is state propaganda even real? Just turn off your media device.
