Honestly, Apple is just about the only company making products that, 95% of the time, just work as expected. They spend a lot of time making sure things are frictionless for the average user, and their tight integration between hardware and software enables conveniences that aren't possible on Windows or Linux. They have a ton of platform integration features that funnel you into a very comfortable and smooth walled garden, and they consistently bring advanced features to normal users well ahead of Microsoft. Macs also benefit from the only extremely low-latency audio pipelines in modern operating systems (discounting JACK on Linux, which isn't often used). Apple Pay makes PayPal look prehistoric. I've never had an easier time with trackpad gestures, bluetooth accessories, or shuffling audio streams around to different things.
