      china currently has a single foreign military base (djibouti asked them to station troops there to combat piracy), so this is unlikely

          i guess theres a slightly inland base there. China is of course literally their neighbor so its quite different from an overseas base

          and seeing as its slightly secret it cant be that significant

        On top of that, the US has been stationing military in Taiwan, which is a huge escalation. They have absolutely no ground to stand on if China wants to build a base there with the support of the Cuban people.
