Does anyone else feel like Yueh wasnt fleshed out enough in the movie? I was a bit disappointed they didn’t include the scene of Yurh giving Paul the Orange Catholic Bible but I guess I’m a bit of a lore head so it wasn’t entirely necessary to the plot. Also bummed they didn’t do the dinner scene that really highlighted all the crooks and power brokers on the Arrakis but I can understand why they didn’t include that.
It would take a full season of a TV show to really nail the growing sense of paranoia and guilt among all of the characters in the first portion of the book.
As someone whose only exposure to dune before seeing this movie was references on the internet, I had little idea who this guy was and when his betrayal was revealed my reaction was "oh huh that guy ok I guess"
I get the feeling it was more impactful in the book?
