Have you looked at comments on Youtube or Facebook recently?
Youtube can be a mixed bag though, there's usually some pushback along with Facebook surprisingly....
reddit is just pure chauvinism IMO, redditors are largely really dumb sheltered mid twenty somethings, a lot of Youtube and FB comments are from middle aged people who fried their brains with internet but have enough life experience to know differently and kids

Democratized media and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
MAYBE all this would have fared better after a cultural revolution to purge the west of its sadism.
