always felt like it's basically marketing, you see the truck headrest and the iridescent sunglasses and you know what you're about to click on
it's not even necessarily on purpose, it can be people accidentally propagating the meme by finding themselves in the situation they saw in this other guy's video, and that's what gets it into their head that they should do it too
