Like, could we by chance, make them go away?Perhaps?

Anyway, on to real shit. I dug up this old pic of the "rig" I used to cure my dumbbells upside down. If anyone was interested in making their own. NOTE: if you do this for the love of fuck don't be as stupid as I was a drill holes through a board to hold them. Just use a board on either side for them to rest on. Cutting these out was a bitch of an ass and yes, I am well aware of how stupid I am. You will need to screw or nail the supporting board(s) to the "legs" as a precaution.

Lifting went well. Increased weight in both squats and overhead presses. 5 sets of 8 reps for squats with the new weight. OHP was tougher. Managed 3x6 and 3x7 sets.

Adding 10 lbs of weight to squats and deadlifts: "Eh this is fine we can just cut a couple reps off each and do an extra set this week."

Adding 10lbs of weight to a bench or OHP: " Life is infinite pain. "

Wore a red shirt and socks I dyed myself. Black pants and stockings. Also knee compressors for squatting.

That would go against my nature of avoiding direct contact when I need something. My usual method is to just bitch incessantly while making no effort for legitimate progress.

    Hey,

I am currently not in a good position to look at a home gym, but to ensure that I don't dox myself, I'll just say that I am a peasant that is going to college in an EXTREMELY flyover part of the midwest.

I want to lift, but I can never really find the time to do so. What with juggling classes, homework, and a job (and it looks like they're beginning to add a couple hours too and really push it). I worry that I have "bad genes" that are simply too stubborn to let me grow at all unless I'm at the gym doing heavy volume shit every goddamn day.

    • What can I do to "hack" more time into my schedule? And should I be worried about "bad genes"?
    • Once when I can, how worth it is a home gym?

    Thanks comrades.
