    Why are redditors so obsessed with Nazi aesthetics? They love when people post their grandads SS uniform or something stupid

      There are tons of fascists there, yes, but the problem with Nazis is that in Western pop culture they've long occupied a role similar to the Empire from Star Wars or Mordor, so your average mushy-brained, uneducated redditor type with no critical thinking skills reacts to Nazi memorabilia the same way as they would to a Stormtrooper's blaster rifle or an Uruk-hai helmet
