The two that have worked for me are CBD and kava kava. CBD gummies are easy so I mainly stick with that, but I do sometimes drink kava which tastes like literal dirt, but is quite relaxing. Neither makes me feel groggy the next day like melatonin does.
Square breathing is another thing that really helps me relax and fall asleep.
