It seems like there are real complaints to be made about food -- these are high performance athletes and this is an athletic competition. Food is really important for a good olympics. They should have done better there.

However, lumping that in with complaints about quarantine procedures (they seem good), cold weather, and a skier falling on the hill? Ridiculous.

I highly doubt there are real issues with food there. The no hot meals claim is verifiable bullshit. https://www.insider.com/beijing-olympic-village-photos-china-bed-rooms-food-2022-2#in-smart-canteens-robots-automate-the-preparation-of-food-and-drinks-5

It may be that people just don't want to eat the food, which of course is ridiculous.

The person they interviewed was in covid quarantine so they weren't even in the village...

Also you can't compete if you're positive

did you see the thing about Usain Bolt apparently eating 1000 mcnuggets at the 2008 Beijing Olympics because it was the only food he could trust? Imagine how fast the man could have run if he wasn't on a 10 day diet of some of the shittiest food known to man!

The complaints I believe are coming from specifically the quarantine hotels for those who tested positive. The village canteen and various other hotels seem fine.
