Calling out Trudeau for blackface again is good and funny, but god damn right wingers think they’re the biggest fucking victims in the world it’s unreal.

Also extremely depressing that there’s this much right wing momentum over fucking trying to stop public health measures yet no momentum at all for trying to hold leadership accountable for the mass COVID deaths in the West.

To me this just forces me further into doomerism. I’m having less and less hope in the West to do anything other than continue to go further into a right wing delirium. Libs and beyond make up the vast majority of people and they’re all such lost causes it seems. I just want to leave.

Say what you will of the chuds, but they have demonstrated a reckless and willful disregard for the consequences of their actions.

Get in a room with a dozen leftists and say "Let's shut down a major bridge", you'll be drummed out of the room as an idiot, an asshole, and a :fedposting: .

But the right wing just rolls up their bootstraps and goes for it.

Maybe an IRL room leftwing people might agree, but chuds are doing it online with no regard for any opsec lol. Also having cops on your side is a huge help, you need a lot less competence to do anything. Look at all the January 6 people who could've worn masks for anonymity but couldn't because ideology.

Imagine if occupy protests were never policed. Those were badly organized, not filled with people who had coherent ideas (Tim Pool got his start covering them favourably), but got shut down quick so they couldn't gain steam. If the convoy was treated like occupy then it wouldn't last long, look how deflated they are when the apprehensive boot of the law comes for them; as opposed to full force at us.

Pipeline protests that are native lead actually do stuff, a couple years ago they shut down a major cargo train line in Canada because no one wanted a pipeline but the injunction ruled they could build it anyways.

I don't know. From Ferguson in 2014 to the George Floyd marches in 2020? That's six long years of activism.

They had a very targeted impact, without a doubt.

Canadians knew well Trudeau's blackface obscenity. It's not like he was 12 or anything, he was a full adult. He did it several times.

Canadians didn't care - they re-elected him anyway. Now he's Blackface Hitler. In 1970, his father Pierre used the Enabling Emergencies Act’s previous incarnation to take on Quebecois terrorists who had kidnapped and murdered government officials; in 2022 Justin is using it to quash protests that have featured kids’ bounce houses.
