    Socialism in agrarian areas was relatively popular in the United States at one point.

    Eugene Debs spoke as much among farmers as he did industrial workers.

        Democrats actually promoted NAFTA deep into the farmlands when they passed it.

        They had commercials running in the Midwest as the factories were closing down.

        Almost everyone here is culturally conservative. Like they hit most of the cultural signifiers and hate Democrats. But shit a lot of them already understand class warfare having never read a lick of theory.

          Reminds me of that quote that goes along the lines of "I may have never read Karl Marx's Capital but I bear the marks of capital all over my body" I can't remember who said it but it's a cool quote.
