It's extremely funny that the one thing that keeping old people in congress for is somehow not something that can be done. Like, keeping people around who remembers deprivation and have more direct experience with it should serve as useful reminder, like with that british socialist who talked about the bombings on Iraq in relation to his childhood during world war 2.
