So, I read two independent translations of this chapter and they both agreed that the Gorousei described Luffy's power as "the most ridiculous in the world". Not strongest or most powerful, but "ridiculous". So, during the fight with Kaido it seemed to me that the style of the chapter changed veye slightly, with more "funny" effects like the eyes that weren't used in the last chapters (please tell if I'm wrong about that, going on memory here), but also Luffy blocked Kaido's breath using the floor, when kaido can easily drill the floor with his breath.

My idea is that maybe, since Nika is portraied as being an irreverent, liberator god that brings joy to people, maybe Nika's fruit power is that reality anf phisics itself are changed to be more "cartoony" around the user. This also would go with Gorousei's comment that "(their power) is limited only by their imagination"
