          the US has 300 million people and has 2 million deaths
          India has 1300 million people and has 5 million deaths

          India has 2.5x more deaths but 4.3x more people
          which means the US is doing 1.7x worse than India according to the WHO

          The age profiles might bring this number down slightly, but not enough to be lower than 1

          This is without taking the population in to account.

          that's literally the only thing that matters, lol. more population = more deaths if everything else is constant.

          By your logic, Nigeria is richer than New Zealand, because higher total GDP
