Just a very good joke density. Imo Futurama, 30 Rock, and Community are the top 3 in this respect.
God how did they do it? Especially 30 rock, nearly every single line was either a direct lead in to a joke, a punchline, or both at the same time
They landed a joke like every 7 or 8 seconds
Kimmy Schmidt is a wonderful show. It's one of the few comedies taking place in New York that dunks on New York arrogance instead of glorifying it.
Sure, the Not-Whole Foods CEO season was pure ideology :zizek: but at least Lillian redeemed herself after he died.
I agree. I know there's some yikes-y jokes from time to time, but it's still enjoyable to this day
