I used this for a bit way back when, but it's extremely bloated and the slow startup time was pretty annoying. I really need to get back into using Emacs again though so maybe I'll give it another whirl.
It's hilarious how bad the main branch is. If you remember your vim movement, switch over to the spacemacs develop branch. Really stable, and very quick (disable flyspell), with startup time <9 seconds on a thinkpad x220 :)
