yeah theres a big forest nearby to me that has it. i noticed a couple of trees with dinged up bark from repeated blows to it but that is ostensibly better than clearcutting it for a golf course. guy who runs it is a socialist and apparently did some sort of project to crowdfund buying the land and donating it to the parks service on special provisions, which was apparently wildly popular and worked out great for little cost to himself
