    just another way for the private sector to leech money out of the public sector, draining funds that could otherwise be used for the public good. I hadn't been in a while but I now live close to a major library and go all the time, and wow they are really stretching that budget to help people and give them access to information, both on paper and online.

    I've even seen their private security actually helping people rather than acting like rent-a-cops. A guy came in bleeding and stumbling around and they helped bandage him up rather than kick him out. I'm still suspicious of private security but that's the best I've ever seen.

    Books as a subscription is the ultimate FU.

    It is now morally imperative to pirate and freely distribute information.

    Need to sticker for archive.org, annas library, sci hub etc in and around the library.
