      My early youth was defined by sonic the hedgehog. My adolescence/early adulthood was defined by Halo.

      It's kinda wild that Bungie left Microsoft only to merge with Activision blizzard, to then subsequently dodge their acquisition to Microsoft, to then get bought by Sony.

      Like...wow...what a journey we've had.

    Hmm... Everyone's being kinda negative about this but I'm going to be contrarian, Sony's first party devs seem to produce very high quality content on the basis it's supposed to sell their hardware. This might actually result in better stuff from Bungie rather than worse given that they've been kinda ehhh ever since they left behind Halo.

    Not expecting magic but whatever Sony seems to do with its first party studios seems to work. No idea what they're like to workers though so I'm speaking strictly about content here.

    Beyond Destiny, I think Sony also wanted to buy Bungie for their developers. Bungie's online engineers can help the other Sony studios make online games. Since they don't really have experience with that currently
