Google is deepening its investment in Chicago with its plans to purchase the iconic Thompson Center building.

The state's selling a public, architecturally historic building to make it happen. Chicago turning into San Francisco speedrun

Its a sale to a real estate holding firm as the actual property owner, with Google being the primary tenant.
