I tried Truly a few days ago and it's the obviously superior cheap hard seltzer. All the fruity taste with none of the TV static.

Cheap?!?! Shits still like 20 bucks for a 12 pack! Just buy vodka and seltzer water.
You're right though, 12 packs of White Claw and Truly aren't cheap. I quit buying them after it started to add up. But after taking a break from drinking for a couple months, two 24 ouncers does the trick for me.
Shit, I can get drunk off two tallboys for $6.50. It's expensive if you do it every day, but once or twice a week won't break the bank.
