Desantis runs for pres with trump as VP. Or more realistically the other way with desantis as VP. What happens?

Trump is psychologically unable to play second fiddle.

Which is why I presented Santis as being trump's running mate as well.

Possibly with plans to kill trump (blaming commies) and going full bore into fascism.

      Lathe do not interact.

An obviously strong ticket! I'm less of an expert on the Mind Of DeSantis, but would he be able to tolerate sitting around in the VP position being a Trump lackey for four or more years? The governorship of Florida must have more job satisfaction, and is a similarly great launching pad for the presidency. The VP route to the presidency is a tried and true strategy, but seems more suitable for technocrats like Bush Sr or Gore.

Lathe time: They both end up hiring the same hitman, and get merked trying to stiff him on payment.

No way Trump accepts a VP position. His ego would never allow it. And I don’t think he’d want desantis as VP for fear of losing some of the spotlight (why he chose mike pence last time)

Democrats run Cheney and Romney to snatch the elusive moderate swing voter, further alienating young and poor voters. Eats shit again :lathe-of-heaven:

    1. in no world would trump accept the VP slot

    2. trump as president and desantis as VP is by far the most obvious way the GOP primary will play out

    Death to America

I don't think DeSantis agrees to VP, with the way the US is going no party can expect to stay in power for more than a handful of years. If Trump were to win in 2024 with DeSantis as his VP the libs would be motivated and raise a bunch of money and probably win in 2028. I think DeSantis is the 2024 nom for president, but if he's not his best path is to hope the libs still hate Trump enough to carry Biden's corpse across the finish line. He' be a shoo-in for 2028 in that scenario.

Trump would never be cuck VP even though thatd be the ideal gig for him. Thats more like a large trump son thing to do
