      covid transiently wrecks your ability to fight bacteria

      your body is always full of bacteria and your gut lining is constantly fighting them off from taking over

      a lot of long-covid symptoms are from bacterial overgrowth. The covid wrecks your ability to fight them off for like a month, they proliferate in that time, and then even when the covid is gone, you're still left with this much higher amount of bacteria as a baseline, leaving you fatigued
