If you’re a successful musician, actor, producer, influencer, etc it seems like there is a black spot somewhere in your personal life. Abuse, creepy shit, bad parents, you name it. Whenever I read into someone I thought was good, there is always a mark against them.
However when I think of people in my family, acquaintances, and old friends a lot of them have some yikes moments in their past. Obviously without the success and power celebrities have.
Without getting into the lack of accountability for most celebs, are regular people just as gross as celebs? Do most people have messy pasts?
I think a lot of it depends on the era and that countries are different. Right now I think what's "normal" is America is pretty fucking awful. So I think the average American is probably pretty fucking awful too.
They're worse because they are so alienated from other human beings they can't help but be monsters.
