Geoff isn't a social democrat, he's a crank. He won his primary as a fluke, and there's absolutely no chance he'll win the general. We don't have to worry about him being a traitor because he's never gonna get anywhere near a position of political power. He's just a weird protest candidate being fed increasingly radical propaganda by other weirdos on the internet.

So like, I know you're joking but after seeing it happen to wave after wave of modteams on reddit I can't help but think it's viable if the politician is from the right class background to begin with. The problem is I suspect not many of them are.
On one hand, getting leftist literature on a semi-mainstream platform is a win.
On the other hand, this is probably the worst piece of leftist literature to put forward. It's like showing your average American a Grover Furr video -- whatever the merits, they're going to think both of you are cranks. You can't change minds on a mass scale that jarringly.
