Today and tomorrow I'm gonna be doing some prep as I'm moving in a few weeks. The updates will continue as planned on Monday.

Resources For Understanding The War Beyond The Bulletins

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map, who is an independent youtuber with a mostly neutral viewpoint.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have good analysis (though also a couple bad takes here and there)

Understanding War and the Saker: neo-conservative sources but their reporting of the war (so far) seems to line up with reality better than most liberal sources.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict and, unlike most western analysts, has some degree of understanding on how war works. He is a reactionary, however.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent journalist reporting in the Ukrainian warzones.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

I'm probably overthinking and going conspiracy brain, but I don't like the idea of the Mexican national guard being under military influence. Just gives me a bad feeling.

any reason for that, i have not seen anything bad in my interactions with them

municipales or estatales or federales all suck, army doesnt but its best to not have too many of them or the marines on the streets, good middle ground

Just mainly the history of the US using all lot of countries' militaries to overthow their respective country's government. I admit it would be probably extremely difficult and too much trouble for the US to stir trouble in Mexico, but it is probably a good idea to separate the military branches just in case. Also it may help isolate corruption by keeping it in a branch instead of all over a connected military. But i'm just a :LIB: typing on the internet, what do I really know?
