I thought this was a funny twitter thread. Turns out history is full of evidence for PTSD in the ancient world, and that's not even getting in to the many examples from non-fiction historical sources.

    this is such a constant genre of post, just make a big declaration that isnt true at all and go viral form people pointing out youre wrong
