I know, it's unfortunate he's a cop honestly. I think he is a sweetie at heart but his job has made him cynical and poisoned with copbrain. Still love him.

dunno, feel like a Theme in the return was that Dale Cooper, as an actual cop-ass cop, just made things worse, whereas as a non-cop he made everyone's lives better. especially given that Mr. C is implied to have some kinda connection to the FBI still too
