    For real, I've had to explain to a lot of people that the song actually has a completely different meaning than they think. Then again, I guess to most people they'd rather listen to it and think of generic youth feelings rather than global nuclear annihilation as it even says at a few points in the lyrics.

      Yep, references to "this race" (i guess space race or just weapons race?), turning our golden faces into the (nuclear) sun. And the music video has a bunch of people from different walks of life walking into a bright life willingly. Pretty clear metaphor for sleepwalking into nuclear war :posadist-nuke:
