Washington Examiner: Dukes of Hazzard star says Hollywood wouldn’t touch his pro-America film

To Die For is based on a real story "about a gentleman who defied a restraining order that said he couldn’t drive within 300 yards of a local high school with the American flag on the back of his truck, but he did it anyway, and he went to jail."

Even in this ever changing world some things refuse to bend. Meet Gunnery Sergeant Quint North. A creature of habit and discipline, the current PC world and patriots are the enemy of progress mentality makes no sense at all to him. The propensity of athletes taking a knee and disrespecting not only this great country but also those who gave their lives protecting it makes even less.
But what can one man do to fight the intentional decay of the greatest country the world has ever known?
Speak out. Live a patriotic example. And, if necessary, die for his flag.
Why..?
Because she's worth it.
WARNING: This movie is intensely patriotic. If patriotism and love of country offend you in any way... watch this film... then move somewhere else.

That's such a great prosecution complex. "Disney wouldn't pay billions to turn my conservative shitpost into a multiversal franchise. I found a bunch of credulous dupes to invest in my project anyways, got paid anyways, probably more than I deserve, and got to make the equivalent of an angry vlog into a movie. So I got what I wanted in the end but I didn't get wealthy or popular beyond my wildest dreams therefore the far left is prosecuting me."

I think after reactionaries roll back the CRA, the next big project will be building up case law around suing people for unrealized profits. That way any conservative hack can just sue everyone in their life who doesn't give them a job or pay for their media projects. This guy won't stop shouting about blood and soil? Well he can sue his employer for not wanting that shit around. This guy's documentary about how Trump is a literal angel and Obummer is the antichrist didn't get picked up for prime time? Well he can sue the networks for the amount it would have made.

I'm very curious about why the guy from the "real story" had a restraining order. They don't just hand those out for driving around with a flag, at least where I live. I tried looking it up, but I couldn't find anything.

most people don't speed through school parking lots with their flags, which i imagine even a fairly conservative school administration would take issue with 'please dont run over children'

      :frothingfash: MYYYY FREEEEDOM

e: i take it back, i don't think this actually happened. :frakes:

This is just the Straight Story but instead of being about a kind old american on a journey of healing, it's about the average old american doing chud shit, how fitting

also there's this scene set in a restaurant, with hilariously terrible green screened backgrounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI9Y9zhvD-0

I'm tired of people coming here from other countries and other places, for the taxes or for the scenery or for the whatever the hell they come here for, and trying to make it like the very place they left. DON'T CALIFORNIA MY LOUISIANA!

That which does not bend can only break.

How many times do you think they say the word "flag" in that screenplay?

Can conservatives write a movie that doesn't involve dry-humping the flag? Like, this is literally just one old man doing loops in a parking lot with his flag out.

    This is incredibly cringe.
