    Acquired atrial fibrillation prior to age, let's say 55, is such a red flag for pulmonary pathology (sleep apnea, fibrosis, pneumonia, etc) I almost feel obligated to prove there isn't any underlying pulmonary issue when I see those patients.

    Some people are just born with the Ford Pinto of cardiac electrophysiology, but that's a huge, separate and largely esoteric topic.

          Not to my knowledge, no, but everyone in my family on both sides have pretty bad heart/circulatory issues. A few have had the catheter ablation procedure however.

      and yeah i have apnea too

      and also other birth defects
