okay so loosely the plot is about some guy who is a member of some kind of state atheism school who goes to Afghanistan and basically its Russian cannibal holocaust, it's definitely late soviet union/maybe post collapse. All I know it's not brother or come and see but its held up there as one of the Russian classics. Oh and there was a motif with coffins.
