There's some serious :LIB: :brainworms: and Great Man Theory ideology and copaganda (fuck you, Garibaldi) and even outright union busting and "oops fascism is inevitable I guess who could have seen this coming" baby brain moments but otherwise it's a great show.

On this rewatch the Great Man is strong but the underlying themes are very communist. Everyone is flawed except for the workers.
