With Twitter continuing to go down a worrying path, we've decided to ban direct links to Twitter.

From here on out, if you want to post a tweet on Hexbear, please either:

• Replace twitter.com in your links with nitter.net (or another Nitter instance)
  • There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/
• Archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today
• Post a screenshot instead

Also, while we're talking about rules, we'd like to remind everyone about our recent post regarding content warnings. We're still having to remove lots of comments & posts for not using CWs appropriately; we are going to start banning repeat offenders (with a final warning before a ban).
