Technically, it was 90% cheers & 10% boos (except during quiet periods), but, still, that's a lot of boos, which is a first for me in real life (frequent on Twitter).

It's almost as if l've offended SF's unhinged leftists... but naw 🤣

      Maybe, like, five years ago.

So much of Chappelle's original material was built on spotlighting social and economic contradictions. "Tron, the World's Richest Man" being a guy who got lucky at craps has some pretty obvious parallels with Elon Musk, right down to the "I'm Rich Bitch!" catch-phrase. The racist-guy-who-doesn't-realize-he's-black joke is predicated on that guy surrounded by a bunch of bigots who are also his friends and loved ones. The Black President gag hinges on the in-world white audience trying to apply traditional white stereotypes to the head of a historically white supremacist institution. All the police interaction and courtroom drama scenes are predicated on the audience knowing how racist the judicial system is.

None of these jokes can land for an audience that can't see the absurdity.

I maintain that the cry-laugh emoji could be replaced with an animated gif of the jerk off motion and nothing would change
