My apartment complex is currently cutting down the big ass tree outside my window and I’m pissed. They didn’t ask me, they didn’t even tell me it was gonna happen.
This may sound silly but I feel like they should have to take a chunk off my rent, I liked that tree and agreed to rent this place with the understanding it was there. I wouldn’t have been willing to pay as much with the tree not there.
Mine did the same thing a few months ago. Then they cut the tree back even more a couple weeks ago, so now it's some Dr Seuss looking bullshit that won't survive the winter. My bedroom was nice and shady all morning but now the sun wakes me up at 6 when I just want to sleep in another hour :lenin-sleeping:

That makes sense and I'd be frustrated too

It was a big ass magnolia tree right outside my bedroom window. The sun in the morning is gonna be so much worse. I’m so mad.
Hopefully the plants in my kitchen window will appreciate it at least?
