    I think it's a commercial real-estate astroturf. They're hoping by making social changes caused or accelerated by the pandemic seem outlandish they might be able to reverse the wfh trend.

      like, dude, you're hiring people from all over the world, most of them don't have any business sitting in an office

        I sometimes have 8am video calls with the European and Indian teams at my company. It's juat completely impractical for me to be in the office for those, lol.
