What do you mean philosophy is a cult?
Philosophy peeps on here do seem to fuck with continental phil more but goddamn that's definitely the most culty shit. Like I remember going to a philosophy department once and seeing a gang of derrideans arguing over some esoteric shit with a gang of deleuzians. Sweaty and glorious.
That is the essence of philosophy, as soon as something as accomplished it is not called philosophy anymore.
