For tonight’s Sunday Slop Night, 9PM EST on Hextube, first up is Seconds (1966), a thriller directed by John Frankenheimer (The Manchurian Candidate) about an organization that surgically alters rich people’s faces to look like another, younger person of the customer’s choice, after which the org kills and replaces said person. The premise sounds cool, and reviews are excellent, so let’s watch. After that is Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988), a comedy from Spanish auteur Pedro Almodovar about a lady whose suicide attempt is interrupted, at which point everything goes haywire. Another very well-reviewed film, so we’re checking it out.

We’ll start at 9PM EST, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies
