    Unbelievably based levels of centrally planned scientific socialism. :marx-ok:

    What's funny is that a bunch of US cities could probably hire a bunch of planners and craftsmen to plan out and get started a series of metros, just straight-up using their guidebook and buying their trains, and it would probably be cheaper than all the highway projects that they're pouring money into right now. But to do something like that would be literally inconceivable

      It would also benefit car brains because they’ll have more room on the road and parking, and according to the sacred laws of supply and demand, gas would be cheaper since more people are using alternatives. But no. Everyone must drive. Otherwise I won’t be able to unleash my road rage on Grandma on the highway
