Underrated: Henk Sneevliet (1883-1942)

Born poor, turns orphan
Becomes leader of Dutch rail union during time in which it was absolutely verboten, leads major strike
got kicked out because he opposed class collaboration by the SDAP
moves to Iindonesia because he cant find a job because of being a communist radical
founds first labor union in Indonesia where both Dutch, Javanese and Indonesians are all equal members, which would go on to be an integral part of the anti colonial struggle
gets kicked out of Indonesia by colonial authorities
meets with Lenin, Trotsky and Stalin
chosen by Soviets to be the guy to lead building communism in basically all of Asia
helps found the Communist Party of China
was the guy who thought up and made happen the temporary collaboration of the KMT and Communists against the Japanese imperialists
gets replaced by some Russian dude because he chose the side of Trotsky in continuing international fomenting of revolution
fights in the Spanish civil war against Franco
helps organize strikes during ww2 against the nazis
he founded a resistance group against the German occupation, the Marx-Lenin-Luxemburg-Front (MLL-Front). This was largely engaged in producing propaganda for socialism and opposing the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands and as such was heavily involved with the February strike of 1941.

For two years he managed to keep out of the hands of the Nazis, but in April 1942 they finally arrested him and the rest of the MLL-Front leadership. Their execution took place in the Amersfoort KZ on 12 April 1942. It was reported that they went to their deaths singing "The Internationale".
