Libertarians worship the Killdozer because “sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things.” In reality he was a petite bougie fucker was extremely greedy and narcissistic and went on a rampage because the state wanted to enforce a basic zoning law that they already relaxed severely just for him.

John Brown is the true example of what happens when a reasonable man does unreasonable things. And the only unreasonable things he did was get black people killed for his damned aspirations. But the slave owners and sympathizers? They deserved it. It was completely reasonable.

Yeah learning about the Killdozer guy made me happy he decided to check himself out of existence instead of being taken alive by the hogs. Mfer is an example of what average "property rights" brainpilled Americans think is a correct response to being told "no you have to have proper sewage lines you fucker".

Also honestly my main gripe with John Brown was him thinking that Harper's Ferry was going to actually work instead of just going guerrilla mode via continual fast raids and plantation liberations.

Libertarians worship the Killdozer because “sometimes reasonable men must do unreasonable things.”

The killdozer itself was this wild spectacle. It symbolized - for at least a short while - the power of a singular motivated individual with intelligence enough to cobble this thing together and wealth enough to afford access to the tools he needed.

It embodied the libertarian mindset, in so far as it was just this SuperHero(/Villain) defeating wave after wave of "normals".

John Brown, by contrast, wasn't this singular ubermensch. He didn't plow through Harper's Ferry single handed. He didn't valiantly charge the line of state troopers and scatter them with impunity. He was an organizer, and his goals were so much more far reaching than a one day temper tantrum. When he martyred himself, it wasn't for the amusement of YouTube dorks. It was as the first shot in a massive configuration.

That's why libertarians can't connect with Brown.
