I soaked some tofu slices in salt water over night, this actually firms them up a bit and gives it a salty flavor. I made home made hummus and ate on ezekiel bread with lettuce and canned tomato with jalapenos. I added a little balsamic too because why not.

Ezekiel Bread is one of those things i've heard of, but never seen in person. Looks fantastic for a little midday lunch.
It's kept in freezer sections at the grocery store since it goes off quick otherwise.
Sounds delicious! I prefer to fry the tofu in olive oil with shredded ginger root and soy sauce - squash the tofu with a spatulas to help remove water, makes a yummy veggie burgers
