I've been dedicating my spare time at the moment to learning about African independence. I got through Congo with no problems. Simple stuff. Congo gains independence, Belgian mining company stages a coup, bit of NATO bumbling around and then it's western backed dictators all the way home.

Nigeria however? What the fuck happened there? I don't even know where to begin. It's fairly understandable and then Biafra happens and loads of other countries get involved fighting alongside their enemies and against their allies, switching sides, etc etc. Any suggestions?
